Aliens Landed in Eugene

So apparently, the other day a visitor from another planet landed on what is known as the planet earth. We all have these visions of green headed monsters with three eyes that try to speak a language that we may have the ability to decode. That is not exactly how it works. But I digress, as what appeared to be people from another planet landed here in the United States.

I never saw them land, and only heard stories from a far. As Events fade further and further into the past they get bigger and bigger in the future.

It was a rather non-plus event but I’m surprised it did not gather a few more headlines. Visitors from another world, another planet or just another enlightened group that no one could understood landed just east of Eugene Oregon and settled for an extended stay. They found the pristine waters flowing from the mountains to be a thing of beauty. The pine trees that were left looked beautiful when framed across April’s clear blue sky. It seemed like a very very simple visit. On a side note, somehow they tuned in To the college radio station from the University of Oregon. It was another thing they were truly impressed with.

They had no way of really communicating and were baffled by how all the trees were ruined by what looked to be fires that were fairly recent. They heard of this on other worlds, where some form of capitalism owned the landscape. Those who have it, those planets tend to screw up most everything. Sorry people from other planets don’t use the F word.

They heard stories and plenty of stories and most of them these days centered around the thing called a gun. How can a world who at one time had almost everything reduce it now to only burning embers of morality.

The last time I want to check on them, they weren’t there anymore and I was going to buy breakfast at a great little vegan restaurant in Eugene. I can hardly blame them. They would’ve liked the restaurant.
