La verdad

1–2 minutes

I have spent a decent amount of time learning foreign languages. And to be quite honest it is not in my wheelhouse. I struggle with languages, living in an English world it forces my brain to work really hard. The brain works overtime, very much like pushing your body on a long run or lifting that certain weight. It is humbling in a time where does good to be humbled, struggle a little and enjoy the little victories when putting a sentence together and communicating with somebody from another culture.

The thing that really warms my heart is to see somebody from another country, struggle to use the English language or speak with a strong accent. I am so impressed by those who can master more than one language and use it in their day-to-day lives. Our kids are doing that presently and every day I am so impressed. However that’s a little bit of a different case.

There are no major life messages in my morning brain dump, rather we are a people of the world with whom we share this planet. It is nice when they enter our sphere and for us to enter into a little slice of their world. I even have a hard time with that sentence because there is no our world in their world it’s all one world.

qué tengas un lindo día
