The Hole Story

1. )We dug this hole,
   2.) so we could wire this fountain
   3.) to go in the new outdoor garden space. Sometimes the cards you are dealt aren’t perfect. Crazy hot weather was not in the project plan. The electrical inspection happens in the next hour.

We cut those roots rather easily and we will see if there are any long-term ramifications.

I wanted to talk about the hole as we had to dig a trench underneath the sidewalk. And yes I was a negative Nelly and thought it cannot be done. I was expecting roots rebar, dead bodies and who knows what underneath the sidewalk. The only thing we experienced was a few roots, and I saw a coin, and plenty of clay.

And there still sits a hole at least 20 inches in the ground holding electrical wires that go to the fountain that Makes bubbling bubbles of calm. All that goes on behind the scenes to get those bubbles has been adventure.and in the end a job pretty well done. Not perfectly done my wife and I are neither electricians or landscapers however we did a little bit of each. And for now, it will be nice to just sit out back sip a cuppa tea read a book and think nothing of the hole that made the fountain that’s sat In the landscaping.
