Slice Of Hope

Everybody I sketched here needs to earn a better than standard living wage. I sit and draw, not to exploit, rather to understand just a little better that which is working with the best skill you have.

That would be hard work and determination, mixed in with singing a little. I started out wanting this to be a scene with smoke, dust and gloomy jab at global warming.

I hope I instilled a little hope in my drawing. These sketches were inspired by a brilliant story and similar paintings in The New York Times
