You put hours and hours into writing a story and then it gets rejected.
It feels like a gut punch, and it saddens and pisses you off for a while.
It may even ruin your day.
You wrote that story for a purpose.
You didn’t write it to get published.
Rather because there was a story to be told.
The same can be said for a drawing or a painting.
