Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?
Tolstoy
When I was a kid, Russia was the great big boogie monster.
I still remember the first time I started reading real books. It’s no different than myself right now as I start reading books in German. First you recognize words, then sentences, then paragraphs and for a while you don’t even know what’s going on. They’re all words sentences and paragraphs.
So It is like us adults reading.
Anna Karenina’s narrative is split between two protagonists: glamorous society woman Anna and idealistic farmer Konstantin Levin. If A Tale of Two Cities is just that, then Anna Karenina, with its famous opening line (“Happy families are all alike; unhappy families are each unhappy in their own way”) is a tale of two families: the ones made, or unmade, by Anna and Levin respectively. The novel compares their attempts to find happiness by way of their mutual pursuit of romantic passion and familial joy.
Oh, I remember reading books and the adventure I was going on. I love Russian novels however Anna was OK but not great. There are some interesting discussions in the book. Communism versus capitalism is for one.

But to move forward and read is the adventure in itself and it is there for you to enjoy. Have a great day.
