Cars and Status

1–2 minutes

What’s something you believe everyone should know.

In the United States, especially in minority communities there’s a hierarchy based on your mode of transportation

Walking and running are for the fitness freaks and aren’t part of this hierarchy. These are, weirdos and outliers.

Walking for transportation is at the bottom of the pyramid.

Taking the bus is the next step up.

I don’t know where a bicycle fits in.

Then there are taxi, cabs, and Ubers.

Any car that runs is the top of the echelon. There are so many cars in urban Los Angeles, and a good proportion of those are on blocks.

But a car that runs that gets you status.

I don’t know what to say about this.
