Tell us about your first day at something — school, work, as a parent, etc.
My uncle, who is a notorious non-achiever once wrote on a black board these famous words.
It should be noted that he was living at his mother‘s house at the age of 45.
But I digress.
He wrote the words “ today is the first day of the rest of your life”
They are all unique and an opportunity.
Or stay in bed and rejuvenate tomorrow’s the same. Sorry that breaks the mojo of what I was trying to say.
First Day Back From Overseas
In a kind of reverse world when returning from an overseas trip it takes some getting used to.
You run into someone in the street and you want to speak a different language.
You capitalize all the nouns like it is done in German
You avoid chance encounters, because you don’t feel like navigating the language.
And you realize it’s just another first day of the rest of your life.
