The other day at book club I made a Vegan Pho that leaned toward chowder. I was asked for the recipe yet could not exactly produce it.

I winged it and make it differently every time. I rarely do anything the same consistently. Yet the soup comes out consistently delicious every time.

Art

I honestly admit I’m not a great artist, but I still enjoy it. Right now I’ll concentrate on portraits. I enjoy drawing portraits, but I never do it consistently the same. I should measure, but I don’t imagine there’s a technique of where you should start. Life is about that spontaneity. At least mine is. I did buy a book on painting yesterday.

Gift

Last year I gave my son a cookbook for a gift. It was a cookbook I wrote. It had about 50 recipes in it. But they were partial recipes The recipes laid the foundation so he can go with whatever direction he wanted.

What colour colored pencil do you use? Was machen sie? Do you Walk to work or carry your lunch?

Why Don’t You Drive?

 I rarely take the same way home. I don’t drive often. It probably drives my wife crazy.

And it’s nice to do many things differently. It is a spice of life.
