Do you believe in fate/destiny?

Berlin alley
A few months ago, I posted this photo of myself in a back alley in Berlin.
Two days later, a friend of mine, that I knew from Portland Oregon, commented that she knows that spot
She said she lives four blocks from there.
She moved to Germany with her husband, they’re no longer married then she moved to Berlin and now lives three blocks from my son
Is it destiny or fate?
No it’s a bunch of wild coincidences.
Fiction
If you ever read fiction and thought to yourself, that could never happen. But it does that’s what life’s all about. It is a bunch of random coincidences starting with a butterfly effect.
One little change in the universe has a ripple effect and just rolls through society. You don’t even know what’s happening.
Happenstance
My son was conceived as a result of me missing a flight to Dallas.
Did American Airlines cancel that flight for a reason?
If he was conceived on a different day, would he be a different person?
Why would anybody fly American Airlines?
How did I get into the computer industry anyways to get on that flight?
How did I meet my wife at the time?
I met her in Reading Pennsylvania and she just moved there from Japan and I just moved there from Virginia.
She is German so there’s a common thread for all you conspiracy theorists.
We kind of met in a cornfield.
Was that destiny?
No. More likely a butterfly landed on a bush in a back alley in Japan somewhere because it set the whole thing in motion.
