How would you improve your community?
We are on this planet within many a community. Community is where we physically live, the friends we keep the clubs we join and even friends from the past.
Where we currently live, I love the community we have built. When I go for a run in the morning, most people know me in the neighborhood. As neighbors we help each other out.
It may sound cliché, but to make it better is to be present and available. We live in a divided world, but all we can be is the best neighbor possible. Treat the people around you well and you’ve gone a long way to building a better community.
Unfortunately, we are moving in the near future. I will miss this community where we live.
I lead with the German be a good neighbor. It is that simple no matter where you live.
