I do this on occasion. I go for a run and I try to find something along the way and write about it. Today my find was a receipt from Main Street marijuana. It’s a retail store in our neighborhood that not surprisingly sells pot.

The store has a policy if they don’t ask if you want a receipt, they will give you your merchandise for free. So apparently this person got his receipt and let it fall to the ground.
Excuse me for being misogynistic here. It could’ve been a woman but women are less likely to let things like this fall on the ground.
Crows
But who knows, it could’ve been in the trash and the crows dug it out. I could see a crow rummaging through the trash, looking to get high. They are smart birds. But for crows it’s a gateway truck. Next thing you know they’ll be looking for avocados and potato chips and drinking a leftover beer from the recycling cans.
I am on the case
I think the police are looking for the marijuana bandit. He was last seen headed towards our neighborhood.. apparently he goes into convenience stores and makes a small purchase and steals tons of chips and these weird little margarita balls.

He sits quietly on a bench, smoking, and chugging buzz balls. The crows love this man. They often steal his potato chips. It should be noted that they prefer the expensive chips. They are very smart birds.
In this case, I’m rooting for the criminal. I’m not going to help the police find them either.
The only thing that police have on this case is a $12 receipt from Main Street marijuana.
I just threw that in the trash. I’m headed down a life of crime.
Of Note
Aiding and abetting, or accomplice liability, occurs when a person knowingly helps, encourages, or facilitates another person (the principal) in committing a crime. Aiders and abettors are typically punished as principals, facing the same penalties as the direct perpetrator, including potential life imprisonment for severe crimes.
