If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

Humans do have tag lines, whether we know it or not. Through gossip, innuendo or however, you’ve earned it, you’ve have a tagline.

The Hash House Harriers

The Hash House carriers are an international running group all over the world.

The Hash House Harriers (HHH or H3 or H4) is an international group of non-competitive running social clubs. An event organized by a club is known as a Hash or Run, or a Hash Run. A common denominal verb for this activity is Hashing, with participants calling themselves Hashers. Members are referred to as Harriers or Harriettes based on gender or preference.

The Hash is humorously known as A Drinking Club With A Running Problem, with the preferred beverage of consumption being beer. (Wikededia)

We eventually get a Name

I’ve been running with a group since 1988 in places all over the United States and occasionally overseas. There comes a time when you get a name that follows you wherever you go. My hash name is Grosser Scheisser which means Big Shi**er in English. This name comes from my ability to tell stories that are larger than life.

I got phone calls from people asking for Big, people call me it all the time. One of my favorite traditions is sitting around a fire after running and drinking beer. Usually when people get their names.

Then there are imposters

Some people come to this running group knowing some of the traditions. They fabricate a name that was not given to them while running with the hash. I can spot the impostors pretty quickly as they tell the story a little differently every time. You have to earn it usually by doing something ridiculously stupid.
