If you could change the ending of any book, which one would it be?
I see an ending I need to enhance.
I honestly think Tale of Two Cities as a perfect book. So why don’t I ruin it? Here we see Madame de Farge knitting up a new ending.

In Charles Dickens Tale of Two Cities
Sydney Carton arrives in Paris and uses a plot to rescue Darnay. He bribes a prison spy to gain access to Darnay’s cell, drugs Darnay, and trades places with him. Darnay is smuggled to safety with his family, while Carton goes to the guillotine in his place, achieving ultimate redemption.(AI)6
The Hell With it
The Cardinal rule of writing is a dog never should die, and Sydney Carton did not need to die at the end of the story. But why not change the entire story of Tale of Two Cities. Have the story take place in the United States. Hillary Clinton is sitting in a rocking chair and knits the indictments of all of those in the Trump regime.
I know in this real life drama, Epstein does go to the guillotine for the regime. It didn’t have to end that way. Just put an end to it and impeach Donald Trump right now. He allowed the Peasants to storm the Bastille and kill innocent policemen and basically told the peasants to just eat cake.
But for an even more interesting and new perspective, it is the end of the world and I know it and I feel absolutely fine. Enjoy this gem.
