What’s a thing you wish schools actually taught?

I was in high school I never took my foreign language classes very seriously and I regret that.

It is rather amazing to speak to people from India or even in country such as Germany in Austria when their English is better than most people in the United States.

My English improved by being married to a German woman.

I realize most schools require language classes. I wish we insisted on having fluency in another language. It is amazing the learning that can happen by learning another culture.

I get it languages aren’t for everybody, but also learning trades should be something that should be encouraged for many students. There’s nothing sexier than a bilingual person who can hang drywall.
