What’s one thing you own that holds deep sentimental value?
I have three T-shirts just like this. The Jaws T-shirt is worn and honor of the late Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip.after being diagnosed with brain cancer, Gord were the jaws T-shirt to the band final tour of Canada.
I wear the shirt often.

There are a lot of patients and family that can’t get their heads out of the disease, meaning they’re refreshing the internet every half an hour, looking for something that isn’t there, that they can’t find, that we don’t know about. Travelling for second opinions, or to get bogus treatments in other places.”
Gord didn’t do any of that, Perry said.
“He did not think about that at all. We’d sit down and talk about a scan result….and then he’d say, ‘OK, well, I gotta go. We’ve got a rehearsal.’ He kept the blinders on, he lived his life, and he never let the disease hold him back.”
We have a friend who lived in Colorado, who is the same fucking disease. We have a conference call with her tonight and will be deciding whether we’ll be go to Egypt to see what could be her final eclipse.. Knowing Becka it will not be..
