Describe a decision you made in the past that helped you learn or grow.
Every decision we have made in our lives has been in the past. We are constantly making decisions every single minute of every single day.
- How often do you have trouble keeping your mind on what you are doing (e.g., in meetings, conversations)?
- How often do you make careless mistakes or fail to finish tasks? More than I would like to admit.
- How often do you have trouble organizing tasks or activities? I’m not horrible here, but I tend to bounce all over the place.
- How often do you avoid or delay starting tasks that require sustained effort? I get bored easily.
- How often do you lose or misplace things (e.g., keys, phone, wallet)? I have honestly never lost any of these, but I misplace them often.
- How often are you distracted by noises or activity around you? Shiny object.
So it was a decision of mine, with discussions with my partner, to actually go see a doctor and see if there’s anything that could help.
We were sitting around with friends the other day and my buddy said to me I don’t want to lose my creative all over the place Mark.
I don’t want to either.
But it was a big decision for me to go to the doctor and address these issues.
