When do you feel most productive?

That overwhelming feeling over the weekend that you need to get stuff done

Live To Work

On the weekend, we get done tasks that prepare us for the following week, such as grocery shopping, laundry, and even house, cleaning and yardwork. That is our capitalistic system and somehow it is ingrained in us to feel guilty for not getting that all done.

Work To Live

On the weekend, I’d like to get some writing done some art work, exercise, and other endeavors to my choosing. I know I still haven’t answered the question. I’m still trying to figure it out.

The Work Day

My work days are pretty similar. I write programs 8 to 9 hours a day with occasional meetings. When I do the most work probably is in the early morning. When I do the best work, probably is at the end of the day -by then I have figured out what exactly needs done and how.

Therefore

I honestly have no most productive time. I am a momentum person. Once things start clicking I go with it. It is random and out of order. That’s probably how it always will be.

Now Retired

Now that I’m retired, I try not to measure production. But here we are in the middle of a giant move. So much of the above does hold true.
