President Donald Trump reported more than $1 billion in income tied to cryptocurrency ventures in 2025, his annual financial disclosure shows, underscoring how digital assetshave rapidly become one of the most lucrative parts of his business empire.
Needless to say this is clearly, borderline impeachable if Anybody in government had a backbone.
But if the president uses the office to enrich themselves—or accepts benefits tied to official actions—Congress could view it as corruption or an abuse of public trust and pursue impeachment. The Constitution’s emoluments clauses may also be relevant, especially if profits or benefits come from foreign governments; how those clauses apply to crypto arrangements is not definitively settled.
