Counting Crows fans are a delightful and odd group of people. I hear many people say their music helped them get through tough times in their lives.
I remember hearing the song Murder of One (WHFSin Washington DC) by the Counting Crows when passing over the Potomac river in Maryland on my way to work. The first time I heard this, I thought this was a group I would rather like.
The hit on that album was Mr. Jones and it was getting plenty of airplay. I was glad the first song I heard was Murder of One of one.
I got into a long-term relationship with a girl, and I think the only thing we had in common was that we both liked The Counting Crows.

Our relationship was a train wreck and I’m happy. I took the initiative to end it.. and I guess the title Murder of One, it’s appropriate here. The one being our relationship as she wasn’t the one.
