• My Reasons For Writing This

Do you think everything happens for a reason?

I think the saying everything happens for a reason is something we repeat out of habit, without giving it much thought.

Certainly, some things happen for a reason, but once you introduced the word, every thing it is almost impossible to prove.

Use of the word, everything is certainly hyperbolic.

Many people have strong faith in a higher power and I understand that. When the coyote gets hit on the head with an anvil, it’s pretty much that the world is random and out of order.

Oh yes, one reason the coyotes is not that smart pr the roadrunner is Herculean strong

There is not always a reason for anything. and the coyotes scenario it’s obvious that that there could be many reasons or reason at all.

I don’t know why I wrote this and an hour from now I probably will have a completely different answer. There is no rhyme or reason.

And who says it has to rhyme.

  • Like A Water Color In The Rain

What’s a song lyric that has stuck with you forever?

The first time you are infatuated with a girl it sticks with you for a long time.

It was summer vacation and I hadn’t seen her for weeks and there she came walking down the busy avenue as lazily throwing a baseball. I felt out of sorts.

And about this time this song came out.

On a morning from a Bogart movie
In a country where they turn back time
You go strolling through the crowd like Peter Lorre
    Contemplating a crime

She comes out of the sun in a silk dress
Running like a watercolor in the rain

  • Rotkappchen

    Rotkappchen

If you could rewrite any book’s ending, which one would you choose?

The ending of Little Red Riding Hood depends on whether you read the original tragic version or the famous happy version: the Charles Perrault version ends with the wolf eating the girl and no rescue, while the Brothers Grimm version features a huntsman who saves them.

I think an alternative, ending would be for the wolf to chow down on the hunter, teaching the lesson that we no longer need to hunt to provide food for ourselves.

  • Is He Dead Yet

    Is He Dead Yet

    What’s your biggest dream?

    An Old Russian Joke

    • A man walks up to a Moscow newsstand every single day, picks up the front page of the newspaper (Pravda, meaning “Truth”), looks at it for a moment, puts it back down, and leaves without buying it. [1]
    • This goes on for weeks until the curious vendor finally asks him: “Comrade, why do you look at the front page every day, but never buy the paper?” [1]
    • The man replies: “I am looking for an obituary.” [1]
    • Puzzled, the vendor says: “Obituaries are always printed in the back of the paper!” [1]
    • The man smiles and says: “Ah, but the obituary I am looking for will be on the front page.” [1]

I know you were thinking it. When I was a kid, I had this recurring dream that took place under a bridge where a stream flowed. Under that bridge stood a wolf or a coyote. That’s all I remember about that dream.

    Checking Artificially Intelligent

This recurring dream suggests that as a child, you were experiencing an emotional transition or a period of growth. The bridge and stream show you were navigating changing feelings. The wolf or coyote represents your instinctual nature, a fear you were facing, or a protective force waiting for you to acknowledge it.

Or possibly the Phillies lost last night.
