  • Amateur Baseball and Smoking

    We went to watch The Ridgefielld Raptors tonight . It was a rather steamy night yet comfortable with the southwest Washington breeze blowing in.. There were a few hecklers, yet still a mellow family evening. The crescent moon was a bonus.

    A few years back we took our Dad to a game in Hillsboro. My Dad got up out of his seat to go smoke a cigarette. While he was away, a vicious line drive off the bat hit right in the middle of the seat where my Dad vacated. The ball left a visible mark in the metal seats.

    It was a rare instance where smoking is good for you.

  • Slow Comfortable Few

    This all goes back to Maslow and his hierarchy of needs and where one sits. I am rather fortunate to have all the lower love needs fulfilled. Those include love and belonging, safety and security.

    Then I work on self esteem.when I am not my best self, it whittles away at my self esteem. That includes being a good citizen of the planet, being a good parent and partner.

    Then I am ready to do some self actualizing. And that is where I feel most comfortable

  • A bright idea.

    It is time for young people

    It’ is time for woman

    It’s time for people of color

    To be absolutely pissed off

    And burn down this for

    Profit

    dog and pony show.

  • Funk

    Running used to occupy

    me through a bad mood.

    Now I create

    Because the worst that

    happen you like it and you

    Think.

    I still got it despite my

    Bad mood.
