• Free Will Timothy

    The Clvil War

In hundreds of border-state households, brothers—and sisters—really did fight one another, while fathers and sons argued over secession, and husbands and wives struggled with opposing national loyalties. Even enslaved men and women found themselves divided over how to respond to the war.

In million of Divided state households, brothers—and sisters—really do fight, argue, snipe and refuse to talk to one another, while fathers and sons argued over COVID, mask requirements while struggling with opposing party loyalties. Even at risk men and women find themselves divided over how to respond to the pandemic.

    This man had free will.

Individuals such as Timothy McVeigh had free will. Free will is not a license to expose those who are vulnerable and if you think you are above the better of society, we remain deeply divided.

Get vaccinated and wear a mask indoors. Do what is best for your fellow human being.

  • Yield: Many

    Prep time: 20 minutes

    Total time: An Hour

    Ingredients |

1 pounds pasta, preferably macaroni “Cheese” Sauce:
1 cups unsweetened nondairy milk (substitute a cup of veggie broth)
    1 1/2 cups nutritional yeast
1/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
    1 cup water
1/3 cup tamari or soy sauce
1/4 (12 ounce) block firm (not silken) tofu (please substitute 3 zucchini –it is so much better)

(For the summer – 2 to 3 zucchini sautéed in olive oil)
    1 tablespoon garlic powder
    1 tablespoon paprika
    1 tablespoon salt

Vegan Cheese –Diaya or Follow Your Heart

Bread crumbs –Panko of crushed saltines.
    1 dollop mustard

    Directions

1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Boil water in a big pot and cook pasta according to package directions or ignore them completely
    2. Add all of the “cheese” sauce ingredients in a blender (even that tricky zucchini) and process until smooth. Once pasta is cooked, drain and put it in the baking pan (about the size of a brownie pan). Pour the “cheese” sauce over the pasta.

Note – Pan saute the zucchini in a dash of Olive Oil

    3. Top with grated vegan cheese and breadcrumbs (optional)
    4. Bake until the top of the pasta looks slightly browned and crispy, about 15 minutes.

Notes – By all means do all the dishes while it bakes. You have the rest of the night free,
This is very simple and tastes amazing! If you are cooking for yourself, it will last about 5 days if you eat it for all three meals of the day.

Note –This is so darn easy and once you have made it you can wing it. I have made with tofu, zucchini and even mush rooms. Another cool thing is to add broccoli spears and stand them in the casserole. It looks like a forest.

  • Correct Brain Wave

Much of the early part of today was spent developing a computer program in a language I barely know to solve a complex problem I barely knew existed

I was so happy with my self for solving a perplexing question and mastering a technology I did not know.

Then I reflected on the people new to the country where I live. They figured it out, The language and the syntax

It puts it all into perspective

  • One would ask, what would a speeding ticket have to do with capitalism. Everything comes down to money and getting the most out of people.

Just picture this in your mind – you’re driving to work oh, and you’re a few minutes late, going a little bit too fast, then you get pulled over for not driving appropriately. As the officer writes a ticket, you start thinking how much is this going to cost me, what are you gonna do to my driving record. In many cases one would ask is, was I actually speeding.?

You scan the ticket and The fine for the ticket is $141.

You can fight the ticket. And then you think I have to take a half day off of work just a fight the ticket. For Some it’s not a loss of salary but for some it is. In many cases, probably won your your case in court arguing that the calibration was off in the machine or something.

Still, price of $141 is it really worth it. If it was $500 you’d be in court fighting it. If it was $25 it probably won’t be much of a deterrent. I know there’s insurance to factor in.

Isn’t it ridiculous that our system allows that such a choice be made. I think tickets are priced with that in mind. One could go the route of paying in pennies however $141 in pennies is a pain in the passing lane.

Happy Friday, now that you read this you are late for something else.
